September 21st Update

Hello Parent Bloggers!

The weeks are just flying by! Dolch assessment ended today and we will begin to dive into reading and writing toward the end of this week and throughout next. I am excited for you to come to the goal setting conferences next week and to help set realistic, attainable goals with your child. Please remember that I encourage you to bring your fourth grade student with you to help set his or her goals.

We had our first parent show up for a morning meeting this morning. It was fun to meet and greet her as well as include her in sharing and our group activity. She even had to do a little math during our daystarter! If you are interested in joining us for a morning meeting they are help from about 9:05-9:20 Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The kids are doing a wonderful job making everyone feel like part of a community. I am proud of them as they grow as a group.
