The Week Ahead: Days 65-69

December is cruising by and our holiday program is at the end of the week. We are starting our week with another meeting of our literature circles as well as Spelling Review #11, Preview #12, and Spelling Contract #12.

We are heading to the computer lab this week for several things. First, like always, we will practice math facts during our Monday Math Madness hour. Tuesday through Friday we are heading to the lab to type our stories in Microsoft Word so we can have digital copies of the things we have written. We will then post our stories on our new writing showcase blog called Write On! (see story below).

We will be rotating classes on Wednesday but not on Thursday and Friday due to the holiday concert. We will be doing more experiments with sound during our science lab.

Morning meetings are still going strong. It has been such a great third of the year so far. Remember, you are always welcome to come to the room at any time.
