The Week Ahead: Days 70-73

This week will be filled with fun activities to wrap up 2005. It will not be a usual week with regular rotations and assignments. Other than having another meeting with literature circles Monday, the schedule will be different and include special events. Tuesday we will practice caroling for Faith Haven with Mr. Vanderport and in the afternoon we will be going swimming (This is a “just-for-fun” visit, lessons will happen later in the winter.). See note about swimming below.

Wednesday we will travel to Faith Haven nursing home and sing to the residents. After singing we will come back to school and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies. Thursday we are heading bowling at 10:00. We will enjoy pizza and be back to the school around 12:00 for the kids to run off some energy on the playground.
