The Week Ahead: Days 82-85

A fun short week is planned ahead. Literature circles will meet again Monday and we will also prepare for our third Scholastic tests. (Can you believe half the year is almost over?!) We have a fun closure activity to end our science unit with Jeopardy being played on Thursday. We may also use this to review for some of our reading test material.
A special thanks to all those parents who helped create Inventor’s Fair projects and may have even came to look at all the creations. Congratulations to all the kids for a job well done. Best wishes to Billy, Bryce, Hanna, and Austin for qualifying for the next level at the Miller Hill Mall.
Blogs are continuing to be a great addition to this school year and we are beginning partnerships on our writing blog with some Denfeld 9th grade English students as well as some 4th grade kids from my old school district in Mankato. We’ll be keeping you posted how things are going as time passes.
Like always, feel free to come to a morning meeting, a reading class, or any time you wish. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments with anything happening in the classroom. Thanks for all you do making this a successful year for your child!
