2006 Grade 4 Lit Picks Book List

The Duluth Young Readers' Literature Award is a reading project established in spring 1990 to encourage reading of good books. The reading incentive program known as Lit Picks offers separate reading lists in grades K-2, 3-4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. K-8 students read and listen to a required number of books from their grade level list and then vote on their favorite book in May. For more information contact Becky Ardren, reading and English language arts specialist, at Becky.Ardren@duluth.k12.mn.us
Our classroom is setting a goal to increase the number of readers and voters participating in the Lit Pick program this year. Student time spent reading, both in and out of school, leads to growth in reading achievement.
